Taking on Superbugs: A New Broom Sweeps Clean

If we lose the battle to antibiotic resistance from superbugs, complicated procedures like organ transplants, cancer treatment and even infant care will become near impossible. Things as simple as paper cuts could lead to infections that kill us. The rise of superbugs is thus seriously concerning. These videos exploere bacterial infection, antibiotic drug resistance, antibacterial drug discovery and the future of antibiotic therapies. Cutting edge research to combat superbugs is being conducted by Dr. Eric Brown’s lab, which includes his student Soumaya Zlitini.
