This seminar includes a clinical presentation with patient interview followed by a research presentation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review the long-term health consequences of diabetes
  • List the therapies that reduce these consequences
  • Understand how diabetes causes some of these consequences
  • Learn if therapies directed at the cause can reduce these consequences
