Description:

This seminar includes a clinical presentation with patient interview followed by a research presentation.

Learning Objectives:

  • To briefly review the genetic epidemiology of autism
  • To understand our current understanding of the genetic architecture of autism
  • To highlight potential advances in diagnostics and therapeutics that might arise
  • To explore the potential of stem cell research in understanding the etiology of autism
